As Voco Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi (the “Company”), headquartered at Mutlukent Mah. 1964 Cad. No: 43 İç Kapı No: 1 Çankaya / Ankara, it is necessary to carry out certain actions via the Platform in order to register for our mobile application named Voco (the “Platform”) and to benefit from our services.
In the event that you register with and use our Platform, we collect and process certain personal data as explained in detail below.

We collect your first name and last name in order to identify your identity on the Platform and process this personal data to enable you to securely access your account on the Platform and to ensure transaction security.
We collect and process your e-mail address for the purpose of activating your account during registration and subsequently enabling you to log in to the Platform securely, as well as to provide you with information and documents related to your transactions and to establish the necessary communication during your use of the Platform. We also use your e-mail address to ensure transaction security on the Platform. Only if you provide explicit consent to receive marketing communications, we will also use your e-mail address to send marketing e-mails for the purpose of promoting the services provided by the Company or informing you about available discounts and promotions.
We collect and process your phone number for the purpose of activating your account during registration and establishing the necessary communication with you during your use of the Platform. Only if you provide explicit consent to receive marketing communications, we will also use your phone number to send marketing communications for the purpose of promoting the services provided by the Company or informing you about available discounts and promotions.
We collect and process your location data for the purposes of performing the core functions of the Platform, providing services based on your geographical location, enabling the content and features within the Platform to function appropriately for you, preventing potential misuse and security breaches, and ensuring the security of the Platform. Your location data is not processed as precise location data (GPS); where necessary, it is processed as approximate location data (obtained via your IP address). Your location data is not processed for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
In order to fulfill our obligations to implement the necessary technical measures in accordance with personal data protection legislation, and to ensure secure access to the Platform and transaction security, we request that you create a password.
We collect and process your gender, occupation, and areas of interest / hobbies for the purposes of creating your profile on the Platform, personalizing your Platform experience, providing you with more relevant content and features, and enabling the Platform functions to operate in accordance with their intended purpose.
We collect and process your date of birth for the purposes of age verification within the Platform, ensuring compliance with the Platform’s age restrictions, creating your profile, personalizing your Platform experience, and ensuring that the Platform functions are provided in accordance with applicable legislation and terms of use.
We collect and process your profile photo for the purposes of creating and managing your profile within the Platform, facilitating interaction among Platform users, personalizing your Platform experience, and ensuring that the Platform functions are provided in accordance with their intended purpose.

Only if you provide explicit consent to receive marketing communications, your e-mail address and phone number will be processed as described above for the purpose of sending you marketing communications.

We collect and process information regarding your login/logout times, the type of device/browser/operating system you use, your IP address, and your location in order to provide you with a secure and functional session on our Platform, to ensure that the Platform operates in line with its intended purpose, and to prevent unauthorized access to your account and our Platform in accordance with legal regulations concerning the protection of personal data. As indicated in the table above, some of this information is also used to provide user/customer support when required.
We process data relating to your location, session quality, and the events you create or participate in for the purpose of enhancing your user experience by providing you with a more convenient and personalized session on the Platform. In this context, your location data will be used for the purpose of listing services that may be provided based on your geographical region.

The servers of our Platform are hosted on the infrastructure services of Amazon Web Services located in Germany. In order to benefit from globally leading hosting infrastructure and to provide you with a functional and secure platform, data may be processed on servers located outside of Türkiye. In accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, the use of such infrastructure constitutes a transfer of personal data to third countries.
